The Word is a very comprehensive Bible reading and studying program. It has many built-in modules of different English versions of the Bible, such as Holman Christian Standard Bible, the King James Version, the English Standard Version, and more. It also has numerous Bible-related books by reputable Christian authors like Mickelson's Enhanced Strong's Dictionaries, The Pilgrim's Progress, The Gospels Compared, and others.
If this is not enough, you can download and install many more modules. Some of them are free, for example, the non-English versions of the Bible, while others are pay-based. Their cost can vary from ten to more than one thousand dollars of the New International Commentary of the Old and New testaments in 40 volumes.
Although the interface of the program is in English, there are downloadable modules in other languages if you are not an English-speaking person. You can also customize the program's skin by choosing among a huge variety of colors.
In general, the program is very good, and its comprehensiveness makes it stand out from other similar programs. Nevertheless, you need to invest some time in familiarizing yourself with the program, since its interface can be overwhelming to the novice user due to the great amount of information available. You can choose the Beginner interface in the View/Layout menu so you can start working with the program in a less difficult environment.
If you are a cleric, a scholar or a serious Bible reader, then this program can be very useful to you.
